The Sales Octagon MMA Style

MMA fighting and sales have a lot in common. You have to have discipline, heart, drive, a work ethic, tenacity, and persistence. Cody Williams is an MMA fighter from Beaumont, Texas, and I’m going to be in his corner at his upcoming Legacy Fighting Championship in my hometown Lake Charles this Friday night.

I like Cody, listen to him talk:

“Throughout my career, I’ve had my wins and my losses. I hope that anyone reading this can take away that with defeat, you have to get up and keep pushing and not give up. It’s important to never lose faith, to focus on the goals you set. You have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going. When you take losses, coming back from it also makes you stronger in everyday life.”

You must persist in life no matter what your dream is.

“People talk about what MMA has given them, and you always hear people say about how it kept people out of trouble, which it did a bit with me. What MMA gave me was also something that crosses over to the professional world. It gives you the determination to keep going and confidence. To be a fighter is also about being a good example for others to follow.”

Look, you don’t need to be an MMA fighter to have confidence. Courage is about taking action no matter your fears. Soldiers don’t refer to themselves as brave before they endure hardships. They’re just doing what they need to do in order to survive in that moment. Fear is something every person faces, but the way to get victory over it is by attacking, dominating, and keeping your attention on the future.

If you frequently do the things that scare you, they’ll scare you less and less until you wonder why they scared you in the first place.

Eventually, fear turns to confidence. Successful people carry themselves with two qualities: conviction and confidence. These are qualities that come to people who take action instead of thinking, waiting, and wondering. The next time you are afraid, take action, be courageous, and you’ll find that success is yours only if you want to take it.

My man, Cody Williams may or may not have fear when he steps in the octagon—I don’t know. But the only way he has confidence today is because he got in the ring and fought good fighters in the past—and won. When many people are hit with fear they tend to retreat. When you retreat from something you don’t take action. This week pay close attention to where you might have any fear. Where there is fear there is opportunity.

You may not be an MMA fighter but the world is your octagon and you will have to fight—you’ll have to fight for financial success and anything beyond mere ordinary. Unless you inherit it, becoming a millionaire will not be handed to you. Do you have the skills that it takes to become super successful and be victorious? Everything in life is a sale and everything you get is a commission. If you don’t have sales skills, you will eventually get financially defeated.

Get on my new Playbook, it’s your guide to becoming a millionaire. I’ve done it over a hundred times over and will be your mentor so that you too can get rich—even super rich. Google and Facebook don’t like me making these claims, but truth is truth. I can teach you how to be financially free, to have so much money you can have choices in life. Get the Playbook here and start to massively increase your income.

This Friday night, July 22, I’ll be at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles in Cody Williams corner. If there was ever a 10X Fighter, he’s it. Now it’s time for you to go attack your bank account with the same tenacity as Cody attacking his opponents in the ring. Get rich or you’ll get knocked out in life.

Be great,

Grant
