If you’ve started a business and you’re still in business it comes down to 1 thing. This one thing is the ability to get things done. Yes, you need sales. Yes, you need revenue. Those who experience little success or no success end up in two categories.
The 1st category is a group of people who get many things done and are very busy, but they do not get the right things done. These people always seem busy, always feel like they worked hard, but at the end of the day they do not have the results that are vital for their success. It is very easy to fall into this category by simply measuring activity and not results. However, it is better to be in this category than the next.
The 2nd category is a group of people who do not get anything done. They are either defiant and just refuse to produce or they will tell everyone about their grand targets and goals but then quietly do nothing. These people have no hope until they hit rock bottom and realize the danger associated with their behaviors. I’d rather be busy and unproductive than lazy and inactive.

These projects should have deadlines and these deadlines are going to be made up of weekly targets, which will boil down into daily quotas. These daily quotas should directly add up to the accomplishment of your weekly targets, which should add up to the accomplishment of your larger projects, which should add up to the execution of your strategic plan. Think of it like a game of dominos. Each action should create momentum for the accomplishment of the next, subsequent action.
