Husband and wife team Grant and Elena Cardone tackle the subject of how to balance business, marriage and family and 10X them all. Committed to their kids, their business endeavors and their marriage they share what they do to make it all work. Join them every Wednesday at 12pm EST where they live out their motto of “stick and stay it’s bound to pay.”

Every day you got kids, parents, friends, money, complacency and all kinds of other things overwhelming you. You need to plan, that’s the bottom line. Taking a nap is not a plan you’ll just wake up to the problem.

What overwhelms you?

Drinking never helps. Drugs never help.

I am overwhelmed because I took up multiple clients and work before building my own company website. Now I am stuck between large projects and launching a large website promoting my company. Work from home business, so the work-life balance is pretty overwhelming and always changing too.

How would you handle email overwhelm?

  • A couple biz partners suggested my future wife come work for them in a salary position bc it’ll help me transition to their company fulltime. Is this a good idea? I think it is bc it will align all of our interests and goals. We all just want to work hard and be free. I want my wife to be as or more successful than me bc shes become someone I admire after all we’ve been through together.

I run a home based business handling ~20 clients all to myself. The sweat labor is starting to overwhelm me, and even though I *am* growing, there’s still that part of me that wonders if I am doing a good job, and I get overwhelmed with the tasks at hand, then juggling work and life together when the wife comes home.

Feeling overwhelmed! I have been selling cars in Seattle at a very cool dealership that let me do my own thing and management let me do my own thing. My wife and I are expecting our first child so decided to move back to our small hometown of Pocatello, ID to be closer to family. I accepted a new job with a dealer and they opperate completley different then what I’m used to, Managers breath down my neck and want everthing i do to be scripted and I am not feeling real happy at this new place. Do I do it their way or mine I,ve been their top guy since I’ve been here and it doesn’t seem to be helping any advice would help
