Grant Cardone and Jarrod Glandt offer tips on how people can pitch themselves in business so they get attention and more deals.

Inspired by the 2014 World Series and the amazing performance by pitcher Madison Bumgarner, Grant wants to make sure you get your business pitch strong.
Can you capture someone’s attention and tell them who you are, what you do and what you offer them within seconds? To get ahead of the pack you must know how to master your pitch. In this episode of Young Hustlers Grant and Jarrod take callers and challenge them to give them their best pitch.

Grant’s 5 Tips for The Perfect Pitch
1. Clarify your goal.
2. Ask for attention.
3. Make it sticky.
4. Get to the decision maker.
5. Practice!

According to Grant a good strong, clear introduction is very important. He also tells people to speak clearly. When you get in front of someone you must be ready. You must practice and prepare. Grant and Jarrod take callers, listen to their pitches and critique them making for an interactive learn by example show. You’ll come away with tips and insights to help you get your pitch on point.

Mr. Cardone and Mr. Glandt, how would you rate our global education? I want to increase the American education to levels with hong kong and India. Americans want to be the leaders we used to be. My mission is to bring out true education, soft skills, and real world strategies. I am the number one guy with global resources in education as i have studied in India and U.S.A. The only way i can dent the world is by helping our younger generation to get the real values and soft skills like interview and success. In addition, the preparation for college by teaching them SAT, PSAT, ACT, and every other exam to make every kid from low income to any level can be whoever they want. I want to push them while in middle and high school because no one told me. Personally i have offered free church sessions in math to school districts, it is my motivating force to make a difference and make education little fun than it is now. Lets make American Education #1 and produce TNL (The Next Leaders) brand.

Are your frustrated as a parent or student because you don’t see the light in the tunnel? High school education is the most important foundation for a student but from first hand experience it is just bunch of bs. Your student retains more knowledge about the culture outside the walls than inside because we still follow education like its 1965 when it was first created. It is not realistic but it can be used to students advantage if they know how to mine it. For example, i tutor calculus students who need a calculator to do square of 10… We lack the foundations- its simple! So let me help your kid build a stronger foundation.

I’m in Car Sales and there are guys that can sell cars but they don’t use the 10X Rule. I am up and coming but am implementing the 10X Rule in everything I do at work. Management had taken notice and it’s only a matter of time before I am outselling everyone else AND doing everything to 10X Levels. It’s a new ERA starting now. Time to put up are shut up. @theosemurphyboys

GrantCardone Great question! I am based out of NJ and we  have a national presence with several recent acquisitions .  Would it make sense to have a 2 minute conversation to decide if there is any opportunity? After the two minutes you decide if we should continue with a yes or no?
